Md. Saddam Hossain was born in Dhaka of a reputed family. He obtained
G.P.A. 5.00 in both S.S.C. and H.S.C. from humanities group. He passed his
college from eminent Notre Dame College, Dhaka. He obtained LL.B. (Hons) and
LL.M. degrees from Department of Law, University of Dhaka. He has completed his
LL.M. with Distinction on ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) Course and
prepared research paper on “Impact of Mediator’s Gender in the Mediation
Process”. Currently, he is practicing as an Advocate in the Supreme Court of
Bangladesh. He is also the Senior Associate of Black & White Law House, a
reputed and renowned law chamber in the country. He earned his expertise in
Arbitration Matters, Commercial Dispute Resolution both national and
international, Mediation, Negotiation, Reconciliation, Writ Matters, Civil and
Criminal Matters, Corporate Litigation and Documentation, Banking Matter,
Admiralty Matters, Company Matters, VAT, Tax and Custom Matters, Administrative
Matters. He has edited and has been the research associate of a number of
books, journals and Law Issues. Besides, being a full-time practicing lawyer
and prominent researcher, he is actively involved in different social and
benevolent activities. He is the Ex-Research Intern, USAID Justice for All
programme, Volunteer, Empowerment Through Law of the Common People (ELCOP) and
Ex- President, Notre Dame Humanitarian Club.
